Nejla Yilmazturk / Fashion Designer, Illustrator & Artist @xartlab IG

Bachelor of Fine Arts  (BFA) – Fashion Design from the Institute of Fine Arts at the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University  – Istanbul / Turkey.

In her work, she researches boundaries between fashion and fine art. Her artistic practice consists Fashion Design, Trend Research, High Level Hand Drawn  Illustrations, Textile Concepts, Styling, Photography, Painting and Graphic Design Concepts.

She developed herself in Haute Couture with the well known Turkish Fashion Designer Ozlem Suer. After this experiences she worked for Miya Textile in a 2 year period at the mass market. Freelance development with Akko Textile/Asu Textile-Turkey & JROA Studio – Spain

Contemporary Design for Inditex: includes brands like Zara , Pull and Bear , Stradivarius, Bershka, Oyso, also Promod , Textilot, Gina Laura, Sainsbury, Topshop…

Since 2016 She works as  self-employed Artist, Designer & Illustrator in Experimental Projects. Additionally designing & developing the own brand / Artwork as “NEJLA YILMAZTURK“ and the „X-Fashion LAB“.

Her work as Fashion Designer includes Costume Design, Art Projects, Fashion Education Conceptualization, Fashion Illustration & Fashion Cross Media  Installations.
